Imagine a business that sells any product to a person, business, or organization. Now imagine after a few years they all get a 100% rebate.
Imagine that all those parties financed their purchase instead of paying cash. Now imagine they all have their monthly financed payments made for them.
What would that do for those that purchased the products using this model? What if you got all your money back, that you wasted in the past? What would that create?
What if the…

This post is mainly for Keith McInnis and network or computer experts of like mind. Keith asked for a chaotic systems example. That got me back in an econometric state of mind as I was looking for just one example to top this part off. For this, and this is quite appropriate to this forum, I can turn to the economist Alfred Marshall who was one of the founders of neoclassical economics. He was also a U.S. Representative from Maine.
Macro economies are chaotic systems no…

GAIN members have asked for an explanation of what CEM is used for. I have been guilty of what I often accuse others of doing. Particularly my wife. She will (on a frequent daily basis) introduce an object of conversation without mentioning the subject. After the first five minutes of listening, I find myself wondering what the subject is. She is making sense, I just don’t know what she is talking about! If I cannot figure it out; I will ask. Once she tells me. I say: Oh! (Not…

Keith E. McInnis commented on both my last posts implying that ... I don't know what...; yet, I do know why AI fails and why science fiction writers were simply wrong.
The science fiction author Isaac Asimov. introduced (and later expanded upon) three laws of robotics in his 1942 short story "Runaround", although they were foreshadowed in a few earlier stories. The Three Laws are:

The Cade Museum Foundation is pleased to announce its third annual competition to encourage early stage Florida inventors and entrepreneurs. The 2012 CADE MUSEUM PRIZE consists of a $50,000 cash award, funded through a generous grant from the Gainesville Community Foundation.
While all types of entries are accepted, the most competitive are those that are developing a truly innovative idea. Ideas from multi-disciplinary teams (or companies) formed for the purpose of advancing the…

I have completed the work needed to place the answer to this question on a proper analytical foundation through the research and development that has been done since I started my project in 1985.
I am now seeking software and business entrepreneurs to implement the world's first completely autonomous (i.e., algorithmic) system of reasoning. As unbelievable as it may sound, it is expected that this software will be the "thinking-reasoning" brain of future androids and robots of every…

Year 2012 is just around the corner and Progress Energy’s rebate program is poised to assist with the cost of installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems by offering up to $2 per watt rebate to their customers. This is the second round of solar PV rebates offered by Progress Energy Florida in as many years. The 2011 rebates were completely allocated in the program’s first two days and the utility fully expects a similar level of interest in the 2012 rebate program.
President and CEO of…

The model allows the buyer to purchase any product or service and receive a 100% rebate, and possible to have all their financed payment’s made for them.

Invited guests, neighbors and solar panels soaked in the clean Florida sunshine during this past week’s first Solar Party held in Gainesville, Florida. I am pleased to announce the publication of "Erasing the Invisible Hand: Essays on an Elusive and Misused Concept in Economics." by Cambridge University Press. At the same time time I am saddened that the principle author and Gainesville resident Warren J. Samuels has recently passed way.
While I did not participate directly, I enjoyed a few conversations with Warren and I supported the effort with my software that was used to search, collect, organize, identify and extract…

The prizes have been announced for the winner of the first annual GAIN Shoot Out, and they're substantial! Prizes includes $1000 in legal services from Hutchinson Law Group, $1000 in accounting services from James Moore & Co., $500 cash from GAIN and, of course, the coveted "Shoot-Out Stetson" cowboy hat.
The cowboy hat is great, but the $2500 in cash and services means the winner won't be "all hat and no cattle", as they say. I've personally worked with both Hutchinson…
