I am a Drupal website architect. Drupal is a extremely popular and powerful framework for building websites. Some of the largest organizations in the world use Drupal, from giant media corporations like Sony BMG & Warner Brothers to the White House (www.recovery.gov), Human Rights Watch (http://hrw.org/) and the UN World Food Programme (http://wfp.org/)
Drupal is Free and Open Source Software, is fully modular, and completely customizable. Drupal enables extremely rapid deployment of any kind of website, whether for simple business sites, social networks, or Ecommerce.
Drupal is a fantastic tool for entrepeneurs. Because of its nature, Drupal modules provide "building blocks" that you can put together very quickly to hash out an idea. With almost all of the functionality already built, you get to focus your energy on making your site unique and special.
