Professional Experiences & Goals: Just moved to Gainesville after finishing my MBA at UNC. My wife is starting the physician assistant (PA) program at UF.

Eventually, I want to start and run successful med device companies. Right now, I am looking to get involved in an exciting med device company in a sales or business development capacity.

Most recently, while in business school, I was an Entrepreneur in Residence with NCIDEA in Research Triangle Park, NC where I worked with the founders of early stage medical device companies in all areas of company development. I continue to consult with NextRay (medical imaging startup) and Clinical Sensors (medical diagnostic startup: early sepsis detection), both UNC spinouts.

Prior to business school I was a co-founder of two venture-backed technology startups: Proximities, which produces RFID payment and access control solutions for entertainment venues (www.proximities.com) and Princeton Power Systems, a cleantech company (www.princetonpower.com).

NextRay won 1st place in the Carolina Challenge business plan competition 2nd place at the Rice Business Plan competition, the largest graduate school business plan competition in the world. It was featured on CNNmoney.com and Fortune Small Business:
