I have worked for 15 years providing cost savings solutions to the medical community. Working closely with executive staff to identify cost savings potentials, we worked other staff and vendors to implement these solution using technology, training and system monitoring.

I have a comprehensive understanding of Radiology workflow and the hurdles that Radiology departments face storing, distributing and integrating their data within the enterprise. My goal is to produce cost effective, manageable and scalable solutions and hooks into theses legacy systems that will facilitate seamless availability of healthcare information to help physicians and patients alike.

Specialties in Your Industries of Expertise

My specialty lies in the design and implementation database driven applications. I've applied this skill specifically to PACS systems and integrating into legacy systems within an Radiology department. Very proficient in Python and Erlang programming as well configuring and deploying Linux database, web and file servers.

How did you hear about GAINnet and what are your interests?

Right now my interests are my wife Carrie and two children, Jackson and Catie. I'm currently building our dream home in Alachua, using ICF and other 'green' technology to make it one mean-green home. I also play racquetball twice a week, mountain bike when I can, swim and run when possible and just try to stay healthy for my family.
