Verenium, a cleantech company that has been in the Florida news this week, is a graduate of UF's Sid Martin Biotech Incubator program.Verenium (NASDAQ: VRNM), a pioneer in the development of next-generation cellulosic ethanol plans to build its first commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol
facility in Highlands County, Florida. and has has been awarded a $7 million grant as part of Florida's “Farm to Fuel” initiative.
