StudyEdge Wins Fast Pitch 2012!

Congratulations to Rich Malgarejo and partners at StudyEdge for hitting the pitch out of the ballpark on Thursday, April 19, 2012.

GAIN's 3rd Annual Fast Pitch Contest was a great night out at the ballpark, thanks to our sponsors Augi Lye (Trendy Entertainment and ToneRite) and Jamie Kraft (Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the UF Warrington College of Business).

StudyEdge was presented with the Louisville Slugger baseball bat by last year's winner Dr. Thierry Dubroca (Delta R Detection) along with other prizes, including an interview with David Snyder on WCJB TV20's Technology Spotlight, a free one-year GAIN membership, a feature video on the GAINnet web site, and more. First runner up was Mercury Authentications (Chuck Saponis), and second runner up was Real McCoy Technology Solutions (Sean McCoy). Congratulations to all of the pitching companies for a great competition!

An event to be remembered, I enjoyed it immensely. My thanks to everyone! Congrats to the top three. Great pitching, great catchers, refs and umps! I had to pass the CrackerJacks along to another (my teeth are getting old ;). Well done Cris, Chris, Dan, Patti, Randy, Carol, Edgar, and Bill, and, to all others involved who brought this event to reality. Let's do more. I saw inspiration in everyone there. And -- everyone that attended -- is a winner! The feedback I personally received will help in many ways. A special thanks to Maulik.
