Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing
* Minimum 3 to 5 yrs. experience as educator/trainer
* Sales experience a plus
* Clinical experience in Infection Control practice a plus
* Experience with Healthcare IT training a plus
* Work requires travel to current and potential clients
Job Description:
* Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating an organized program for education, directed toward the achievement of professional excellence.
* Plan, direct, or coordinate training and development activities using knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Desired Skill Sets:
* In-depth experience with conducting training sessions and providing product and services education and training.
* Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
* Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
* Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
* Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
* Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
* Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
* Organize training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.
* Plan and deliver training courses personally where necessary to augment that provided externally or internally by others, including sales meetings
* Arrange for the maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.
* Arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
* Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
* Performs other duties as assigned
