Given that it's Innovation Month, what better way to end it than attending a reception and lecture headlined by Rasheda Ali, daughter of Muhammad Ali, to celebrate the opening of UF's revolutionary, one-of-a-kind Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration.
Anyone who has been affected by Parkinson's, dystonia or other movement disorders should not miss the opportunity to learn about the Center and listen to Ms. Ali tell the story of her father's battle with Parkinson's and how she helped her children understand the disease and its effects on their grandfather.
"A Night of Champions" will celebrate ALL champions who have been afflicted with movement disorders and are working to overcome their disabilities.
For more information about the event, which will take place on Wednesday, May 25th at 7 pm at the UF Hilton & Conference Center, please visit http://bit.ly/lTvmUn.
If you have questions about the event, please feel free to contact me at anna@competira.com or at 352-870-3140. UF Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration
