Do you know any women-led life science or clean tech companies looking for funding?

The following is a recent post by Joshua Henderson, Dir. of Programming at Springboard Enterprises, on the BioFlorida - Florida Biotech Network Group on LinkedIn.com.  For those who are not already part of that group, I thought this might be of interest.

Do you know any women-led life science or clean tech companies looking for funding?

Springboard Enterprises is looking for new companies to build on the success of the over 400 entrepreneurs that have already presented at their venture capital forums. These companies have raised over $5 Billion in capital, 80% are still operational, and 7 are publicly traded on NASDAQ.  Currently, Springboard is seeking female entrepreneurs to participate in their AllThingsLifeSciences 2010 venture forum program (https://www.springboardenterprises.org/vcf/atls/apply), showcasing early and later stage companies in biotech, clean tech, energy, environment, diagnostics, devices and healthcare to potential investors and strategic partners across the country.

Companies that apply will undergo a rigorous screening process before being selected to participate in Springboard’s signature program, including in-person regional events, a national event in Boston, MA and a hands-on and tailored coaching process. Participants gain exposure to Springboard’s nationwide network of angels, VCs, corporate investors
and strategic partners.

The deadline for applications is March 17, 2010, and interested
companies are encouraged to review the application guidelines and submit an online application at www.springboardenterprises.org.  Questions? Email allthingsls@springboardenterprises.org or call 202-242-6282
