Accountant Job Opportunity at Sinmat

Sinmat, a local technology company, is in pressing need of a full time accountant to manage company financials which is inclusive of federal grants and commercial operations.  The position will be responsible for preparing company budgets, cost proposals, participating in audits, producing financial reports, invoicing for federal and non-federal clients as well as processing payroll,  filing all taxes and other accounting duties.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in accounting or related area plus 5 years experience, part of which must include government accounting.  Must have thorough knowledge of QuickBooks financial software, and ability to learn other software as needed.  Grant management knowledge a definite plus. Must be able to communicate and present information clearly, and able to handle deadline pressure.
