If you are the owner of business or have found yourself in a management role, this workshop is definitely for you. The Human Resource is the most valuable asset that any business has. It is also one of the toughest to manage. Through this three part seminar, you will have the benefit of getting a wide variety of perspective and insight from veterans in the field.
Mr. Brian Ussery is an attorney at the Tampa law firm of Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing, P.A. where he assists clients in managing their employees, dealing with labor organizations, and representation before courts and agencies that regulate any aspect of the employment relationship. He also assists clients in developing sound personnel policies and practices, and provides effective training programs for their managers. He has partnered with Praxiom specifically on a variety of webinars and training modules to educate our clients in his area of expertise.
Mr. Jim Rogers is an Executive Coach with Praxiom. Mr. Rogers experience in Human Resources spans several decades. He has experience in dealing with both public and private companies and retired as the Sr. Vice President - Human Resources of Gerdau Ameristell, a 6.5 billion dollar publicly traded company. Mr. Rogers was responsible for all facets of the Human Resources platform including, but not limited to: employee benefits, mergers and acquisition, culture integration, leadership development and employment practices. Jim currently serves an Executive Coach with Praxiom where he shares his knowledge with our clients in an effort to build a great company culture with the appropriate Human Resources policies and procedures in place.
Mr. Brian Murphy is the Assist Vice President and Tampa Region Specialty Underwriting Manager for Chubb Insurance. Brian underwrites and assists both public and private companies with their specialty lines of insurance coverage. He has deep expertise in Directors and Officers Insurance, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability and several other lines liens of miscellaneous coverage. He has deep experience in claims review as part of the underwriting process and can share a wealth of information about litigation trends and the importance of Human Resources as part of the over all Risk Mitigation strategy for business of all shapes and sizes. Brian has specifically partnered on this project with Praxiom to show how lack of proper policies and procedures and affect your company's financial statements.
