GAIN Monthly Luncheon Speaker Series: Ocoos with Ryan McCabe and Daniel Sosa

What is Ocoos ?  

Ocoos is a silicon-valley backed internet marketing solution based in Ocala, Fl.  The firm was founded in mid 2011, and recently made a major product release in October 2012.  

The firm has attracted very senior talent for its board (President of P&G/Duracell, CEO AMD, Private Equity, etc), investment community (80% investors Cxx, 30% for public companies), and management. Ocoos offers a solution which can be termed a combination of "Amazon for Services"  and "linkedin" for small business. Similar to Amazon (for products), Ocoos offers a platform which has the additional capabilities to buy services, and similar to linkedin,  Ocoos offers a full business platform ranging from ecommerce to customer relationship management. Ocoos business model is much like linkedin where large parts of the system are free with a premium offering for $15/month. 

Ryan McCabe and Daniel Sosa Bio:   Ryan and Daniel are recent graduates of the University of Florida with a Masters in Entrepreneurship. Working with an experienced executive (Rahul Razdan),  they founded Ocoos in the spring of 2011 in order to fundamentally lower the barriers for the success of small businesses. Ryan is a local Florida native (Fruitland Park), and also graduated from University of Florida for his undergraduate studies.  Daniel obtained his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University, and is an avid hockey player.
